COLLECTION

Everything you need in order. You can stop after Part 1 — the Skin Editor, shops, leaderboard and admin tools all work without the game plugin.

PART 1 — THE PANEL (your Windows PC, ~30 min)

Get the website online

Open the folder. In File Explorer go to C:\Users\noure\Downloads\Twisted-Isle-Evrima-Panel, click the address bar, type cmd, press Enter. You should see public and functions folders.
Check the code works. Run npm test. It must end with 0 failed on all five suites.
Log in to Cloudflare. Run npx wrangler login.
Apply the database migrations. Run npx wrangler d1 migrations apply twisted-isle-econ --remote. Safe to re-run — already-applied migrations are skipped.
Deploy the site. Run npx wrangler pages deploy public.
Add your secret keys in the Cloudflare dashboard under Workers & Pages → your project → Settings → Environment variables. Mark them Encrypt / Secret:

Deploy AGAIN — keys only apply to a fresh upload. This catches everybody once.
Add your domain in Custom domains, then add the redirect in the Discord developer portal: https://thetwistedisle.com/api/auth/callback (and the .pages.dev one). Copy exactly, no trailing slash.
Sign in with Discord and confirm the sidebar loads.

PART 2 — THE PLUGIN (your Linux game server, ~45 min)

Make points do things in-game

Optional. Adds growth, diet and teleports that apply to your live dinosaur, plus the Live Map and Population pages.

Install UE4SS into your game's Mods folder and confirm it activates (UE4SS.log will say so).
Copy the mod. Put this project's plugin/IsleCommands folder into Mods/IsleCommands.
Enable it — add IsleCommands : 1 to mods.txt (or create Mods/IsleCommands/enabled.txt).
Restart the game server. In UE4SS.log you want:
[IsleCommands] Boot; version=v001 verbs=grow/heal/diet/teleport
If teleport is missing, the server still has the old main.lua — restart it fully, not just the relay.
Install the relay daemon (same machine as the game server):
sudo mkdir -p /opt/twisted-isle && sudo cp plugin/relay.js /opt/twisted-isle/
Create /opt/twisted-isle/relay.env with PANEL_URL=https://thetwistedisle.com, PLUGIN_TOKEN=<same token as Cloudflare>, MODS_DIR=/path/to/TheIsle/Binaries/Linux/Mods, then sudo chmod 600 it.
Start it: sudo systemctl enable --now twisted-isle-relay, then journalctl -u twisted-isle-relay -f to watch the log.
Set real teleport coordinates. The shipped ones are placeholders. Edit TELEPORTS in the API file, and add the same keys to the teleports table in config.lua.

QUICK TEST

Prove it works

Open My Dino → the badge should read PLUGIN ONLINE.
Link your SteamID64 (17–20 digits). You can't spend points without it.
Claim daily +10, then spawn your dinosaur in-game.
Buy Perfect diet (3 pts, cheapest) — it should confirm in ~5s.
Type a number in the growth box (0.1–100, one decimal) and apply it.
If a job fails you are refunded automatically — you cannot lose points to a server problem.

STILL BROKEN?

Common problems

SYMPTOM	FIX
Shop or Garage says "unavailable"	The `skins` / `inventory` tables are missing — re-run the migration in Part 1, step 4.
Migration says "duplicate column name: loc"	The column already exists (created automatically by the app). Pull the updated folder and run the migration again — it's fixed and safe to re-run.
PLUGIN OFFLINE	`sudo systemctl status twisted-isle-relay`. A wrong token logs `401`.
"player is not online"	The SteamID you linked isn't the one you play on.
Jobs queue and never finish	Your dino isn't spawned. Spawn it and wait.
Growth box shows "— (enter 0.1–100)"	Value is 0 or over 100. Must be greater than 0, max 100, one decimal.
No Admin Panel link	Your Discord account lacks the admin role. Correct behaviour.
Changed a key, nothing happened	Keys only apply after deploying again.
Saved skin doesn't change your dino	Expected for now — skins are stored and shareable, but not yet applied to game assets.
